Hello,
I am looking for archives from the years 1907 to 1913 approximately, of the teaching of the nuns at the Convent of Claveisolles (69870, in the Rhône). I have a first contact with the present Sisters of the Prado, but we do not know if there are archives from that time.
In Claveisolles, the Countess of Sablon had helped.
I am working on our genealogy, also by finding out how my grandmother went from Claveisolles to the Institute for the Blind and Deaf and Dumb in Villeurbanne, perhaps thanks to the education of the Sisters. Thank you.
Hello, thank you for your message. Concerning the archives in Claveisolles, the sisters of this convent merged with the sisters of the Prado... your request must not have been transmitted to the interested parties because there must be archives of Claveisolles which were transferred to the sisters of the Prado. To our knowledge, there are at least three sisters who could help you in your research: Sister Renée Marie DUPIN, Sister Marie Odile Raynal and Sister Marie Aimée. We do not know where they are at present but the Prado sisters will certainly be able to pass on your request to them. Wishing you success in your search, with kind regards.
Hello,
For my family research, I would like to know if you have any archives on the Beates of the 19th century and in particular their letter of obedience and their career.
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for your help,
YC
Hello Mr. Mrs,
For your information, we have in our archives a register of the Beates from the 19th century, with the places where they carried out their mission. A register of deaths with some personal information. However, we do not have any letters of obedience.
I hope that this information will be useful to you.
If you need any specific information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely
Sister Patricia GIMENEZ
General Councillor of the Sisters of the Child Jesus
